The following is a series of photographs taken at the events of this day. In the first set of photographs, Frank Lloyd Wright is addressing an audience. In the second set, he is meeting with Mayor Daley. In the third set, Wright is attending a dinner in his own honor. |

| Notes | Pictured from farthest to closest to the camera: Frank Lloyd Wright and unidentified man.The following is the text beneath the banner of the Mile High building: “THE ILLINOIS CANTILEVER-STRUCTURE MILE HIGH 528 STORIES OR 5280 FEET + 480 FOOT AERIAL FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT ARCHITECT” There are two white spots on the photograph where the top layer of the photograph has come off. Handwritten in pencil and blue ink on the back of the photograph is the following: "10/83 #82D 2 1/2 x 11 1/8 INTERLACHEN Frank Lloyd Wright" The Interlachen is the name of Florida Southern College's yearbook. Stamped in red ink on the back of the photograph is the following: "PLEASE CREDIT CHICAGO TRIBUNE PHOTO" There is half of a piece of tape at the bottom of the back of the photograph. |
